Constable

Constables have the authority to enforce both the Traffic Code and the Criminal Code of Kentucky. They may execute warrants, summonses, subpoenas, attachments, notes, rules and orders of the court in all criminal, penal and civil cases.

You will see this race on your ballot if you are registered as a Democrat and live in either Constable Districts 1 or 3. Constable Districts are the same as your Magistrate District, view the map here.

Robert Miller won in District 1 and Eddie Sparks won in District 3 for the general election this November.

Michael A. Brumley

Michael Brumley is the owner of CPS (Community Protection Security) Patrol, and has served as Sergeant Deputy for 3rd District Constable Eddie Sparks. This is his first run for this office.

  • I worked under Constable Sparks learning how to run the office with respect. i have also spent years working security in the highest crime neighborhoods here in lexington. I am from the north side of Lexington and i understand how neighborhoods work. Growing up in Winburn before moving to Castlewood taught me alot about the community.

  • 1st The first distric needs body cams.

    2nd The first distric needs marked vehicles

    3rd The first distric needs compassion, understanding and respect.

  • I want the firsy distric community and the entire county to feel comfortable coming to the Constables of all districs for help, advise and compassion. while feeling safe to do so.

  • I will have a open line of communication with all the residents of Fayette county. I will become their advocate with local government. That is the job of Constable we work for the people not the government.

Aaron C. Reynolds

Aaron Reynolds was the Communications Officer with the University of Kentucky Police Department, and is currently Director of a Nationwide Public Safety Dispatch Center. This is his first run for this office.
